On Friday, May 30, 2025, friends and supporters gathered at the Clearview Main Street Community Building to dedicate “The Oklahoma Civil Rights Trail” plaque to Clearview.Former Senator Kevin Matthews and Attorney Hannabel Johnson presented the plaque.

Clearview has recently faced a series of unfortunate events involving thieves and vandals. Despite our efforts to improve the town, we are taking two steps forward and one step back.Last year, we proudly installed directional and site markers on roads and streets around town.

The annual Gerty Day Reunion has been set for Saturday, June 28th. This year’s event is being hosted by the Blue Devils’ Class of 1965 as they celebrated the 60th anniversary of their high school graduation.The community building will open at 9:00 am with a potluck lunch planned for 12:00 noon.
