Oklahoma Blood Institute would like to express sincere gratitude to Holdenville and Hughes County first responders for hosting a recent Boots & Badges blood drive on Monday, December 17. This drive was essential to saving the lives of patients in local hospitals during crucial winter months.

Wes Watkins Technology Center’s welding program celebrated the success of several students passing their Oklahoma Department of Labor weld certification tests. The welding program has gained popularity and importance as local businesses continue to need certified welders.

Calvin Christmas Program Creates Joy!

The Brown Home group Clearview Suggas Extension sponsored a Christmas Light Tour for citizens of Clearview on Friday evening, December 14th to Muskogee Honor Heights Park. The group left Clear-view early afternoon for Muskogee for a stop for dinner at Runt’s Barbeque.

An old elm tree that once stood on Main Street in Clearview for many decades succumbed to old age and woodpeckers was taken down last week. At one time, there were several trees on that lot which stood watch over a church building and now the Clearview Community Center.
