Coachman
Sherry “Susie” Coachman was born April 25, 1951, in Wetumka, Oklahoma to Richard Leslie Aultman and Arcie Burns Aultman and passed from this life July 20, 2026, at her home near Wetumka at the age of 75.
Susie was raised in Wetumka and attended Wetumka School. As a young lady she married Darrell Coachman in Holdenville. They made Wetumka their lifelong home. She worked for several years for Tyler Drug before becoming employed by Hughes County District 2 as a secretary. She later retired from her position at the Hughes County Clerk of- fice in Holdenville.
Susie is remembered as an avid softball player and later enjoyed watching her daughter Amy play. At home she enjoyed watching detective shows and working crossword puzzles. But her greatest joy in life came from being with her family, especially with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Bobby and Pete Aultman, two sisters, Phyllis Mc Queen and Peggy Rupe, a niece Jackie Rupe, and David, Wilma, and Patrick Coachman. Survivors include: her husband Darrell of the home; a daughter Amy Sanders of Woodward; three grandchildren, Spencer Underwood and wife Katlyn of Wetumka; Kailey Sanders of Woodward, and Kelsie Sanders of Leedey; her great grandchildren, Xavier Underwood, Isaiah Rodriguez, Ryder Allen, Bridger Howard, and Spynser Underwood; along with several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
