Cookey Ann O'Donley passed away Monday, June 22nd, 2026, at Heritage Village Nursing Center in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 84 Cookey was born December 10th, 1941, in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Thomas Wesley "Bud" Giles and Maudie Beatrice (Bennett) Giles. Cookey worked as the Office Administrator for the OSU Extension Office in Hughes County. She married Richard O'Donley June 2, 1962, in Holdenville. Cookey loved her children and grandchildren. Her greatest joy was watching their activities and loved being Maw Maw to her grandchildren. Cookey is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Maudie Giles, son Richard ODon - ley Jr., siblings; Jim Giles, Charlie Giles, Bill Giles and Evelyn Gentry. She is survived by her husband Richard O'Donley of the home, son Steven Shane O'Donley and spouse Chris - tina J. Rancilo of Dallas, TX, daughter Lea Ann Hagey and husband Brandon of Holdenville, grandchildren; Cash Jones and Karston Jones. Phyllis is sur - vived by numerous other relatives and friends. Pallbearers are Jimmy Sanford, Randal LaValley, Buddy Griggs, Mike Davis, Karston Jones and Cash Jones. Honorary pallbearer is Bobby Smith. Viewing will be 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sat - urday, June 27th and 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, June 28th at Hudson Phillips Fu - neral Home in Holdenville, Oklahoma. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 29, 2026 at the First Baptist Church in Holdenville with Pastor Frank Giles officiating. Interment will follow at Holdenville Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home, Holdenville, Oklahoma.
