    Our sympathy is extended to the family of Betty Sue Hutchins

    Betty Sue Hutchins passed away Thursday, April 9th, 2026 at her home in Calvin, Oklahoma at the age of 77.

    Betty was born March 17th, 1949 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Raymond Shockley and Loveta (Hickman) Shockley. She graduated from Moss public school. Betty worked as a Quality Control for Blue Bell and Wrangler companies. She married Howard Leroy Hutchins on May 25, 1971 in Horntown, Oklahoma. Betty enjoyed fishing, going to casinos and dearly loved her husband Leroy.

    Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Loveta Shockley and brother J.R. Shockley. She is survived by her husband Leroy Hutchins, sister Linda Thronebury and husband James of Horntown, numerous nieces and nephews. Betty is survived by other relatives and friends.

    Pallbearers were Luke Kuhlman, Ja-son Pebley, Jimmy Roberts, Billy Burton, Terry Baker and Greg Brewer.

    Viewing was held 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, April 12th and 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, April 13, 2026 at Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home in Holdenville, Oklahoma.

    Funeral service was held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at Pryor Cemetery Chapel in Stuart, Oklahoma with Reverend Luke Kuhlman officiating.

    Interment followed at Pryor Cemetery.

    Services were under the direction of Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home in Holdenville, Oklahoma.
