Pauline Blaylock
Pauline (Taylor) Blaylock was born September 13, in Calvin, OK, to William Amos Taylor and Estel (Grimes) Taylor. Pauline passed away on June 14, 2026.
She grew up in Spring Creek area, a community northeast of Calvin and attended Calvin Schools for 12 years graduating in 1944.
She and Ples Blaylock were married May 6, 1944, by Reverend White at his home in Horntown east of Holdenville. They made their home in the Crossroads community where they farmed, and Ples worked in the oil fields.
They were blessed with three sons, Kenny Blaylock, Tommy Ray Blaylock, and Larry Don Blaylock. Pauline was a home maker and enjoyed traveling, reading, playing dominoes, and visiting with family and friends.
Best of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandkids taking them camping and to sports events.
Pauline is preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 64 years, Ples Blaylock; two sons, Tommy Ray Blaylock and Larry Don Blaylock; three brothers, Willie Taylor, Doyle Taylor, and Donnie Taylor all of Holdenville, OK; grandson, Kenneth James Blaylock of Durant, OK.
She is survived by one son, Kenny Amos Blaylock and wife Bethryne of Calvin, OK; three granddaughters, Trena Kay Simmons and husband Rett, Michelle Lynn Nolen and husband Danny, and Sharla Faye Griffin
and husband Travis all of Holdenville; along with 7 great grandchildren.
Memorial Services will be held at 10:00am , Wednesday, July 8, 2026, at the Crossroads Cemetery north of Calvin, OK.
