    Funeral services for Sharon Ann Stapp will be held today, Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the Middle Creek #1 Baptist Church, Lamar, Oklahoma. Wake service will be held at the Middle Creek #1 Baptist Church, Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 7:00 PM.

    Sharon Ann Stapp was born March 15, 1957, to Gene Stapp and Nancy (Fish) Stapp. She passed away Friday, February 6, 2026, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma at the age of 68.

    Sharon loved going to the casino, watching church on television, she was an avid treasure hunter, especially loved finding arrow heads.

    She worked for many years as a caretaker at various nursing homes.

    Sharon was baptized at an early age at Sand Creek Baptist Church, of Wetumka, Oklahoma.

    She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Pete “Junior” Stapp, Gene Riley Stapp, Ronnie William Stapp, and Danny Joe Stapp, sisters, Mary Louise Buck, Lavern Counts, Brenda Howell, Carol “Sissy” Stapp, and Anita Counts.

    She is survived by her sons, Jason Sean Stapp of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Damien Keith Stapp of Weleetka, Oklahoma, and Kent Matthew of El Reno, Oklahoma. She is also survived by her brother, Bobby Wayne Stapp of Maud, Oklahoma and sister, Rita Smith of Weleetka, Oklahoma; special friends, Melissa Vaughn Stapp, Ravin Maxine Edwards and Kaye Morris Wright; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

    Serving as pallbearers will be Jordan Davis, Pierce Davis, Mason Davis, Damon Yahola, Ivan Strong, and Bret Stapp.

    Services will be under the direction of Parks Brothers Funeral Home, Wetumka, Oklahoma, and officiated by Rev. Mark Smith.
