    Steven Ray Edwards passed away peacefully at his home in Calvin, Oklahoma, on April 6, 2026, at 64 years old.

    Steve was born May 2, 1961, in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to Coy Wilson Edwards and Esther Sue Edwards.

    He graduat ed from Calvin High School in 1979. After high school, Steve attended college for a time before beginning his career with Pipeliner's Local Union 798, where his skill and work ethic allowed him to excel as a wellknown and respected journeyman.

    Beyond his profes sional life, Steve was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his mo torcycle, and tending to and caring for his cows on Nubbin’ Ridge Farm in Calvin. Steve was known for his fun-loving spirit and everlasting patience, his greatest joy in life was the time he spent surrounded by his family.

    Steve was preceded in death by his father, Coy Wilson Edwards; his mother, Esther Sue Edwards; and his brother, Jerry Don Ed wards.

    His legacy lives on through his family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 25 years, Dusty, who he has called his bride since their first day of marriage; his four children, Amie Ryan and husband Rick of Wetumka, Kimberly Cavanaugh of Holdenville, Jennifer Hollingsworth of Fresno, CA, and Hunt er Edwards and wife Haley of Stigler, OK.

    T welve grand-children, Elizabeth Hollingsworth, Allison Chitwood, Thierry Tucker and husband Kyler, Grace Koger, Brittany Chitwood, Clay Chitwood, Harper Cales, James Johnson, Jayden Edwards, Marnie Edwards, and Bodhi Edwards. Two great-grandchildren, Dex ton and Drayton Tucker.

    He will be deeply missed by his family, his union brothers and sisters, and the many friends he made throughout his life.

    Pallbearers are Earl Peel Jr., Tony Baker, Fred Pace, Russell Ring, Terry Bowman, Kent Blaylock, O'Dell Pack, and Mitch Pendergraft. Honorary pallbearers are Brent Blaylock, Ty Carter, and Clayton Carter.

    Viewing will be 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at Hudson Phillips Funeral Home in Holdenville, Oklahoma.

    Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 9, 2026 at Hudson Phillips Funeral Home Chapel.

    Interment will follow at Calvin Cemetery, Calvin, Oklahoma.
