    Funeral services for William "Bill" Wilkerson were held Monday, April 27, 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Parks Brothers Fu - neral Home Chapel in Wetumka, Oklahoma. Interment followed at the Wetumka Ceme - tery.

    William "Bill" George Wilkerson was born Sep - tember 3, 1933 in Wetumka, Okla - homa to Roy and Daisy Pearl (Wes - son) Wilkerson. He passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2026 in Okemah, Okla - homa at the age of 92.

    Bill was a lifelong resident of Wetumka and a 1951 graduate of We - tumka High School. He and Tressie Nadean Lu - cas were married March 15, 1952 in Wetumka. She later preceded him in death, February 23, 2015. Bill was a farmer / rancher who worked for more than 30 years with Hughes County District 1. He loved working jigsaw puzzles, being outdoors and was always digging with his shovel; having previously dug graves at the cemetery for the county! More than anything else, he loved spending time with his family especially his grandkids who will miss him dearly.

    Also preceding him in death were his parents; one son, William George Wilker - son, Jr.; three sis - ters, Wanda, Nor ma and Laqueta; and two brothers, Carnie and David. Survivors in - clude two sons, David Wilkerson and wife Dottie of Tulsa and John Robert Wilkerson and wife Dusti of Wetumka; his daughter, Jo Brennadette Shaw of Florida; 7 grandchil - dren, 13 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchil - dren.

    Serving as pallbearers were Chris Wilkerson, Randy Fields, Ty Allen, Cody Cald - well, James Shaw and Arlie Nolen.

    Services were under the direction of Parks Brothers Fu - neral Home, Wetumka, Okla - homa and officiated by Rev. Claude Butler.
