Martha Elizabeth (Rasberry) Owen, age 85, of Selma, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2020, after a lengthy illness. She was born in Weleetka, Oklahoma, on July 3, 1935, to John Milbern Rasberry (Jazz) and Florence King Rasberry.

Jonathan Kirt Herrod was born July 13, 1971 to Jonathan Herrod and Darlene Louella Wilbourne in Claremore, Oklahoma. He passed from this life in Tulsa on September 10, 2020. Visitation will be held at Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home of Wetumka on Wednesday, September 16 from 12:00pm until 8:00pm.

Vonda Kaye (Frye) Sanders was born in Weleetka, Oklahoma to Vernon Frye and Violet (Ellig) Frye on March 12, 1940. She passed away on September 11, 2020 in Oklahoma City. She was the wife of Ronnie Sanders. They shared over 55 years of marriage together, where they lived the last 40 years in Dustin.

Funeral services for Patty Jean Brown were held Monday, September 14, 2020 at 10:00 AM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Wetumka, Oklahoma. Interment followed at the Wetumka Cemetery.

Family and friends are mourning the loss of longtime Spaulding and Holdenville resident Joseph H. Marquis, who died at age 83 on Sunday, September 13 th , 2020, at his home after a long illness. Joe was born in Purcell, Oklahoma, on August 29, 1937 to Henry and Lucy (Loeffelholz) Marquis.

Teresa Diann (Carpenter) Welch, age 63, passed away August 31, 2020 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Teresa was a resident of Holdenville, Oklahoma. She was born October 26, 1956 in Coalgate, Oklahoma to parents Albert Carpenter and Grace (LeFlore) Carpenter. She graduated from Coalgate High School.

Clifford Allen Rogers “Bud” was born July 15, 1957 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Eunice Irlene (Wiley) and Clifford Jewel Rogers. He passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Weatherford, Oklahoma at the age of 63 years, 1 month and 18 days.

Molinda Edline Cox, 94, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2020. She was a lifelong friend of Jesus Christ. Molinda was born on Dec. 20, 1925, in Keota, OK. She married the love of her life, Hollis Roy Cox, on Jan. 1, 1942.

Brownie Charles Sneed a long time Holdenville resident passed away at his home. Brownie was raised here in Holdenville and attended Holdenville Schools. He was born on April 6, 1948 in Hughes County to Liss and Beulah Milam Sneed.

Nadene Violet (Summit) Qualls passed from this life on Tuesday, September 8, 2020, surrounded by her family. Nadene was born in Sims, Arkansas on July 16, 1924, to Walter Roy Summit and Lucinda Jane (Trapp) Summit and was the younger twin to Nolene Pansy (Summit) Bobo.
