Dale Barton, longtime resident of Lamar, passed away in Oklahoma City on Thursday, July 4, 2019, at the age of 91 years. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 20th , at Fisher Funeral Home’s Lillye Chapel.

Weleetka -- Barbara Jean Toney, 61, died on June 12, 2019. Visitation at Williamson-Spradlin Funeral Home of Wetumka on Wednesday, 9am-8pm. High Springs Baptist Church, Thursday beginning at 4:00pm. Funeral service Friday at 1:00pm at High Springs Baptist Church.

Michael Lee Martin passed away in Lawton, Oklahoma on Tuesday, July 9, 2019, at the age of 51 years. Michael was the son of William S. ‘Boots’ Martin and Janice (Skipworth) Martin, born on April 19, 1968, in Holdenville, Oklahoma.

Marguerite McDonald was born on March 5, 1925, in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Harvey and Bertie Smith Wages.  She departed this life for a new life on Thursday, July 11, 2019, at the wonderful age of 94 years, 4 months and 6 days.

Beth Shipman, 85 years of age, joined her beloved husband, Bill Shipman, in the arms of our Savior on Thursday, June 6, 2019, following a long and valiant battle with Parkinson’s disease.

On Wednesday, July 3, 2019, we lost Eric Gordon Thompson, an extraordinary soul, too early at the age of 48. There was nothing conventional or ordinary about our man Eric.

Former Holdenville resident Kay Lynn Dunn of Garland, Texas passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2019. Kay Lynn was born October 19, 1942 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Charles Bloomfield and Beatrice Lorene Cummins Bloomfield. She graduated from Holden-ville High School Class of 1960.

Ira ‘Sonny’ Denton Sherrin of Tecumseh, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 70. Ira was born September 18, 1948 to James Parris and Betty Bagwell in Holdenville, Oklahoma.  He graduated from Maples High School.

Mary Ruth (Teague) Johnson Killmer was born August 4, 1932 in Lake City, Arkansas to Howard Teague and Olcie Menta (Passmore) Teague and was the oldest of four siblings. She passed from this life June 25, 2019 in Tulsa at the age of 86. The family moved to Weleetka in 1936.

Billie Katheryn Fitzgerald, formally of Spaulding, passed away June 27, 2019 in Wakita, Oklahoma  Services were held on Monday, July 1st at 2:00 p.m. in the Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Dane Robinson officiated the service.
