Harold Skeeter Davis, born on March 10, 1950, passed away on Friday, March 22, 2019 at Mercy Hospital Ardmore, after a short illness. He is survived by his son Ryan Davis and a brother, Brent Davis. Skeeter was born in Holdenville and lived in this area until his death.

Gertie Maye Goldson—known to all who knew her simply as “GERTIE”—was born in Weleetka, Oklahoma to Cinderella Patterson and Walter Patterson on November 15, 1942.  She passed from this life on February 28, 2019. Gertie’s life journey and many travels took her all around the world.

Catherine Annit (John) Williams passed away Monday, March 25, 2019, at her home in Stuart at the age of 77 years, 2 months and 11 days. Catherine was born January 14, 1942 in Wardville, Oklahoma to Edward Sim and Alice Folota (Perry) John. She a t t e n d e d and graduated from Atoka High School.

Michael Eugene Dodson was born September 9, 1949 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Gene and Mary Ella ‘Pat’ (Poe) Dodson. He went to rest high on the mountain. His work was done on March 19, 2019, and he passed away at the University of Texas Southwest Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.

Another smiling angel was greeted at those perfect gates on Tuesday, March 19, 2019. Paul Turpin was born on December 18, 1935 to Melvin and Etta Turpin in Non, Oklahoma. He was one of six boys and five girls. Paul was best known as “Doodle” to all his family.

Charles Johnson Sr. was born April 22, 1951 in Boley, Oklahoma to Bessie Willis and Freddie Johnson and passed from this life March 14, 2109 in Spencer, Oklahoma. He is married to Sandra Washington Johnson.

Jimmy Ray Mitchell passed away Saturday, March 16, 2019, at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital in Oklahoma City at the age of 59. Jimmy was born July 27, 1959 in Yazoo, Mississippi to James and Frances Mitchell.  Jimmy married Carol Lipps on November 18, 1999 in Royce City, Texas.

Malinda “Mindy” Kay Summers was born December 13, 1967 to Jon Winn and Sandra (Mayes) Winn in Seminole, Oklahoma. She passed from this life on March 12, 2019 at her home in Weleetka, Oklahoma. Mindy attended school in Weleetka, where she graduated from high school.

Lucy Mae (Simpson) Lowe was born to Lewis Simpson and Sonia (Harjo) Simpson on October 27, 1947 in Talahina, Oklahoma and passed from this life on February 25, 2019 in Eufaula, Oklahoma. Lucy spent many of her days as a homemaker alongside her husband Amos Lowe.

Memorial services for Kenneth Wayne Brewer, 73, of Byng were held 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, his nephew, Rev. Paul Hightower officiated. Mr. Brewer passed away Friday, March 15, 2019 at his home. He was born August 12, 1945 at Holdenville to Recil and Reva Dooley Brewer.
