Virgil Deward Gann passed away in Oklahoma City on Monday, June 27, 2022, at the age of 81.Virgil was born March 12, 1941 in Carson, Oklahoma to Jewell Rupert Gann and Vallie Shipley Gann. Virgil graduated from Dustin School. He married Billye Baldwin on April 4, 1958 in Lamar.

Rainey Micco Marks was born December 2, 1951 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to Hempsey and Mattie (Looney) Micco and passed from this life June 19, 2022 at the St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa at the age of 70.Rainey was raised in Weleetka and attended Weleetka Public School.

Sharon Jene Dodson Hall passed away June 1, 2022 after a brief battle with lung cancer.Sharon was born to Floyd “Gene” and Mary Ella “Pat” Dodson January 29, 1943 in Lamar, Oklahoma. Sharon attended Oklahoma State University where she met and married Ferris Hall September 1, 1964.

Funeral services for Eugene Harjo, Jr. will be held today, Thursday, June 16, 2022 at 1:00 PM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Wetumka, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at the Johnson Family Cemetery south of Wetumka.
