Our Sympathies extended to the families of... Dr. Rory Gene Stricklin passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, in Wagoner, Oklahoma. He was born on November 16, 1978 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Rory grew up on his parents’ dairy farm milking cows and living the farm life.

Rosella Tuttle Vallandingham, age 95, long time Wewoka resident, peacefully left this earth surrounded by her family on July 22, 2021. She was born January 18, 1926 in Mounds, OK and lived in the Mounds and Duck Creek area with her parents Pearl (Simons) and P.J.

Dale Dean Jennings passed away at his home in Norman, Oklahoma on Saturday evening, August 7, 2021, at the age of 86 years. Dale was the son of Floyd Jennings Sr. and Winnie Mae (Hooper) Jennings, born on October 20, 1934 in Seminole County, Oklahoma, where he was brought up.

Joe Junior ‘Dude’ Grizzle passed away at his home in Spaulding, Oklahoma on Sunday, August 8, 2021, at the age of 80 years. Joe was the son of Joe Clifford Grizzle and Oletha (Sexton) Grizzle, born on June 24, 1941, at Spaulding, Oklahoma, where the first five years of his life were spent.

Ethel Leme Thompson passed away in Holdenville on Friday, July 30, 2021, at the age of 84 years. Ethel Leme was the daughter of Barney and Bessie (Moores) Thompson, born on January 28, 1937 in Chicota, Texas. She was brought up in the area of Paris, Texas, and was a graduate of Paris High School.

Kenneth Earl “Bud” Keesee was born June 14, 1943 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Kenneth and Willie Mae Keesee. He passed on August 10, 2021. Bud was a longtime Holdenville resident, graduating from the Holdenville High School Class of 1961.

Funeral services for Joyce Ann Bear were held Saturday, July 31, 2021 at 10:00 AM at the Tookparfka Baptist Church of Calvin, Oklahoma. Interment followed at the Calvin Cemetery. Wake services were held Friday, 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Wetumka, Oklahoma.

Billy Daniels Fields, Sr., age 47, passed away July 31, 2021. Billy was born September 15, 1973 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Billy W. Fields and Lola Fields. Billy moved to Wetumka in the 2 nd grade around 1980. He grew up there, went to school there, and graduated in 1991.

Minnie Ruth “Lodi” Herrod Mitchell entered the world on November 15, 1953 in Calvin America, born to Louise and Robert Herrod. Her second birth was on June 11, 1968. She was in Hillcrest Heart hospital when she was received into the arms of Jesus on July 29, 2021 at the age of 67.
