Georgetta “Judy” Marie Tucker, a resident of rural Weleetka, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at her home at the age of 77. She was born May 13, 1944 in Glendale, CA to George Nathan Stevens and Leona Mae (Bennett) Stevens. Judy was a charter member of Endtime Revival Tabernacle.

Services for Harold Leonard Akins, 79, of Allen were 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 24 th , at Richmond Avenue Free Will Baptist Church, Revs. Bobby Briggs and Buddy Drake officiated. Burial followed at Allen Cemetery. Mr. Akins passed away Friday, August 20, 2021, at a Seminole hospital.

Hughes County District 3 County Commissioner Tommy Peak passed away Saturday. He was an outstanding public servant and dear friend to the publisher and the Holdenville News. He will be greatly missed, not only in his capacity as a commissioner, but as friend to many.

Jimmy Dwayne “J.D.” Gray, age 80 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away at his home, Saturday, August 14, 2021. Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 17, at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa.

Ricky Dover, age 67, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, July 22, 2021, at his home in Calvin, Oklahoma. He was born on July 5, 1954 to Leroy and Flossie (Allen) Dover in Dinuba, California. Ricky married Raeleen Waide on August 29, 1980 in Orange Cove, California.

Denver Clayton ‘Denny’ Wilbanks passed away in McAlester, Oklahoma on Wednesday morning, August 11, 2021, at the age of 81 years. Denny was the son of Burl and Charlotte (South) Wilbanks, born on November 13, 1939, in Holdenville, Oklahoma.

Graveside services for Lynda Gail Trinkle, 74, of Allen are 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 20 th , at Calvin Cemetery, Rev. Ed Rutherford will officiate. Mrs. Trinkle passed away Monday, August 16, 2021 in Ada. She was born April 21, 1947 in Okemah to Wayne Allen and Lear Beatrice Ezell Nolen. Mrs.

Born in the small town of Wetumka, OK, Colleen Toy White achieved more in her lifetime than anyone has a right to expect. She was the fourth of five children born to Bass and Bula Moore.

Queston Dwight Yarbrough passed away Saturday, August 14, 2021 at Mercy Hospital in Ada, Oklahoma at the age of 70. Queston was born December 30th, 1950 in Gerty, Oklahoma to Jesse Jackson Yarbrough and Ninnie Mae Woodall Elliott. He graduated from Calvin Public Schools in 1969.

Funeral services for David Nin Parker will be held, Thursday, August 19, 2021 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Wetumka, Oklahoma with John Roberts officiating. David Nin Parker was born December 15, 1941 in Wetumka, Oklahoma to Nin and Maggie (Jones) Parker.
