Judith A. Artussee, a resident of Weleetka, passed away Monday, May 17, 2021 in Tulsa, OK at the age of 79. She was born February 23, 1942 in Oklahoma City, OK to Floyd S. Hawkins & Helen Marie (Franklin) Hawkins. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Floyd Hawkins, Jr.

Arthur James Bruner Jr. passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021, at St John’s Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 84. Arthur as born July 24, 1936 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Arthur Bruner Sr. and Izora (Walker) Bruner. Arthur graduated from Haskell Institute.

Funeral service for Esther Sue Edwards of Calvin will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at the First Baptist Church in Calvin, OK with Pastor Kurtis Stoll officiating. Interment will follow at Calvin Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Larry Paul Hamilton passed away Thursday, May 13, 2021, at his home in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 75. Larry was born November 4, 1945 in Wetumka, Oklahoma, (in an ONG company house) to Paul and Fern Hamilton. He married Donna Wheat Peace on May 6, 1995.

Kenneth Jerome Sherrin passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at his home in The Colony, Texas, surrounded by his family. Funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the Berkshire Chapel in Frisco, Texas, officiated by Pastor Rick McCoy. Interment was in The Little Elm Cemetery.

Jerry Wayne Barnes Jr. was born May 16, 1974 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Jerry Wayne Barnes Sr. and Alpha Jean (Wolf) Barnes. He passed away Saturday, May 8, 2021 in Lakewood, Colorado at the age of 46. Jerry grew up in Wetumka at his family homeplace for most of his childhood.

Billye June Gann passed away Friday, May 7, 2021, at her home in Lamar, Oklahoma at the age of 81. Billye was born December 30, 1939 in Highlands, Texas to Roy Baldwin and Leona Wood Medler. She graduated from Moss Public School. Billye married Virgil Gann on April 4, 1958 in Lamar.

Patsy Louise Cook passed away at the age of 79 years on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at her home in Holdenville on property where she lived her entire life. Pat was the daughter of Washie and Mary (King) Foster, born on June 25, 1941, in Holdenville, Oklahoma.
