STUART HORNETS SPRING BASEBALL DISTRICT CHAMPIONS 2021—The Stuart Hornets defeated Vanoss and Weleetka to capture the Class A District Championship on April 22nd. They will be back in action at Regionals on April 29th.

In a battle between two county teams Tuesday night Wetumka defeated Moss 52-41. The Chieftains actually trailed 36-32 at the end of the third quarter. However, they came on strong in the final period outscoring Moss 20-5 to gain the victory.

THE WETUMKA CHIEFTAINS HOMECOMING GAME will be Friday night, January 29. Homecoming ceremonies will begin at 5:30 p.m. The locals are having a good year with seven wins and five losses.

NEW LIMA 46-WETUMKA 43 It was a close game Tuesday night, but Wetumka lost to New Lima 46-43. The locals were behind one pont at the end of the first quarter and led by one at halftime 23-22. It was tied at 33 when the third quarter ended.

November was a big month for the football fans in the Jackson Household. Coach Teddy Jackson II coached his son Teddy Jackson III “Trey” and his team of Shawnee to the All-School 5th grade championship on November 14th .

WETUMKA The final regular season game for Wetumka was a successful one as the Chieftains roared past Porum 50-2. They will face Keota on November 20th at Keota in the opening round of the playoffs.
