    Wetumka Comes Up Short in Cyril

    Cyril Pirates jumped out to 12-0 early lead end of 1st quarter. Dwayne Lowe threw a 34 yard touchdown pass to Chayden Flanagan to cut into the Pirates lead of 12-6. Cyril answered back with a touchdown pass to take a 18-6. Dwayne Lowe scored on a touchdown run for the chieftains 18-12.

    Wetumka Ousts Alex, 62-26

    The Wetumka Chieftains hosted the Alex Longhorns on Friday night. Dwayne Lowe scored on a rushing touchdown to give the Chieftains a 6-0 lead. The Longhorns then scored on a long touchdown pass and converted a 2 pt play to the take the lead 8-6.

    Outlaws Smash Cyril 58-30 Behind Drake’s 5 TD’s

    The Weleetka Outlaws lit up the scoreboard Friday night, rolling past the Cyril Pirates 58-30 in a dominant offensive performance that saw senior quarterback Isaiah Drake account for five touchdowns and more than 470 total yards.

    Stuart Hornets, Lady Hornets Punch Ticket to State

    The Stuart Hornets and Lady Hornets both punched their tickets to the OSSAA Class B State Tournaments. The fifth- ranked Lady Hornets (24-10) beat Oilton 8-0 and Earlsboro twice 11-1 & 9-1 to secure their berth at State.
