    The Chieftains went on the road for a second week in a row. They were hosted by the Empire Bulldogs who were 2-1. The home team scored first to take a 6-0 lead, but the Chieftains tied it up 6-6 with a long Nick Taylor touchdown catch. Empire took control scoring 24 points in the second quarter.

    The Wetumka Chieftain football team had their first road game of the year at host Davenport. The Bulldogs took an early led of 8-0 on the first possession of the game. Wetum - ka had a difficult time scoring due to penalties and a turn over. Davenport jumped out to a 30-0 halftime score.

    DEWAR — The Weleetka Outlaws used a balanced offensive attack and a stout defense Friday night to earn a 28–12 road victory over the Dewar Dragons.After a scoreless first quarter, Weleetka's offense came alive in the second.

    The Wetumka Chieftains kicked off the 2025 football season vs. the defending Class B State Champion Dewar Dragons. The home crowd showed up early and cheered hard for the Chieftains. Dewar jumped out fast with a score on their opening possession and never looked back. The final score was 46-0.

    Outlaws Roll Past Davenport, Improve to 2-0

    The Weleetka Outlaws stayed hot Friday night, putting together another dominant performance in a 48-14 road win over the Davenport Bulldogs.Weleetka (2-0) jumped out early, scoring 14 points in the first quarter and adding 20 more in the second to lead 34-0 at halftime.
