    Sooners win home opener with record breaking performance Oklahoma quarterback Jalen Hurts accounted for six touchdowns and set the record for total offensive yards by a player in his debut as the Sooners beat Houston 49-31 to open the 2019 season in Norman.

    Graham-Dustin Chieftains remain undefeated!

    Graham-Dustin is till unbeaten this year after crushing Oaks-Mission 52-0. The game was never in doubt as the locals rolled up 30 points in the first quarter and added 22 more in the second period. Derek Jennings completed 5 of 6 passes for 175 yards including a 61 yard touchdown pass.

    We started off with four ladies at the Nazarene Fellowship Hall Monday night! Then Joyce Brinlee arrived after a church meeting. We called Shirley Hardwick and that made six ladies playing Moon. Cindy McDaniel came but said that Selma Fitzhugh wasn’t coming.

    Holdenville rushing game improves in loss

    The Holdenville Wolverines’ rushing game showed improvement in Friday night’s game against Atoka, but it wasn’t enough for the win. Holdenville lost to the Atoka Wampus Cats, 48-18. Atoka got on the scoreboard fi rst after a 76-yard interception return for a touchdown.

    Wetumka falls at Dewar

    The Wetumka Chieftains played hard against Dewar Friday night, but some critcal mistakes and penalties kept them from a win. Head coach Darrell Reid said the final score (52-6) doesn’t refl ect the gameplay by the Chieftains.

    Former Wolverine Oske Lowe honored Friday night

    The Holdenville Wolverines faced a tough foe in the Eufaula Ironheads Friday night at home, and lost 51-7. The Wolverines were overwhelmed by the Ironheads almost from the very beginning.

    Graham-Dustin Chieftains remain undefeated

    Graham Dustin picked up their second straight win with a convincing win over Quinton 54-6. They outscored Quinton in every quarter, 18-6 in the first, 22-0 in the second and 14-0 in the third. Derrick Jennings completed 13 of 18 passes for 409 yards and 7 touchdowns including one 85 yard bomb.
