Weleetka put 46 points on the scoreboard Friday night on the way to a 46-14 victory over Strother. Strother scored first in the game, but that was the only time they led. With less than two minutes left in the first period Brennon Lewis connected with Devin Davis for a 71 yard touchdown.

The Wetumka Chieftains lost to the Strother Yellowjackets Oct. 17 by a score of 52-32. The Chieftains got off to a great start by scoring on their first offensive play. About two-and-a-half minutes into the first quarter, quarterback Colt Hickerson passed the ball to Lucky Yahola for a touchdown.

It was an unbelievable game, a game where one team scored 64 points and lost. A game in which Graham/ Dustin scored 48 points in the first quarter, 36 in the second and 30 in the third. Can you even imagine leading your opponent 84-42 at halftime!

The Wetumka Chieftains played their first district game of the season Friday night and won by a score of 42-22. The Chieftains scored quickly in the game versus the Maud Tigers.

The Holdenville Wolverines lost on the road Friday to the Henryetta Knights, 47-7. Despite the lopsided score, the game was quite competitive early, and into the second quarter. Holdenville’s defense held Henryetta to just seven points in the first quarter.

The Holdenville Wolverines faced a tough foe Friday night, and lost to the Okemah Panthers, 48-14. Okemah’s defense stifled the Wolverines’ offense at critical times, holding them to just 170 total yards. All of Holdenville’s points came from returns.
