The Weleetka offense was at its best Friday night as they scored 58 points on the way to a win of Depew. The locals never trailed in the game. With less than a minute gone in the first period Chase Pitts scored from the 10 yard line and Brennon Lewis added the two point conversion.

The Wetumka Chieftains lost their last non-district game Friday night at Keota, 30-24. Wetumka is 2-4 in non-district play, which is similar to last year when it was 2-3 prior to district play. The Chieftains then won the district last year, and made it to the Final Four in the state playoffs.

It was a heartbreaking loss Friday night when Graham/Dustin lost to the Midway Chargers 22-20. The locals actually led at the end of three quarters 20-16. However Midway scored in the last period for the win. Derek Jennings connected 9 of the 16 passes for 89 yards and one touchdown.

Three Stuart School athletes were chosen as USSSA All-American Fastpitch Athletes and were selected to compete in the fourth annual USSSA 2019 All-American Fastpitch Tournament at the Space Coast Stadium Complex in Viera, Florida during the week of July 22nd through July 27th .

The Stuart Lady Hornets are the Class A-18 District Champions for Fall Fastpitch Softball.  They beat Weleetka 13-0 and Wetumka 10-5 & 18-1 to capture the title.  The Lady Hornets (21-12) will play their Regional Tournament at Morrison on October 3-4.

The Holdenville Wolverines played their first district game of the season Friday, and lost to the Prague Red Devils by a score of 43-6. Head coach Monty Lewis said Prague was a pretty physical team, but the Wolverines are getting better.

Sooners win home opener with record breaking performance Oklahoma quarterback Jalen Hurts accounted for six touchdowns and set the record for total offensive yards by a player in his debut as the Sooners beat Houston 49-31 to open the 2019 season in Norman.

Graham-Dustin is till unbeaten this year after crushing Oaks-Mission 52-0. The game was never in doubt as the locals rolled up 30 points in the first quarter and added 22 more in the second period. Derek Jennings completed 5 of 6 passes for 175 yards including a 61 yard touchdown pass.
