    Track Stars in The Blades Family

    Tanya Nero Blades is one of the track coaches at Glenpool High School in Glenpool, Oklahoma. Tanya is also the parent of two of the members of the high school and junior high track team, Makai and Jordan Blades. Both run the 100 and 200 meters and are part of the 4x100 and 4x200 relay teams.

    Weleetka girls win championship!

    Robin Lori Cooper was born February 19, 1964 to Robert and Jewel Benham in Holdenville, Oklahoma. Raised in Carson, Oklahoma, she attended Wetumka Public Schools graduating in 1982. During her time at Wetumka High School she enjoyed participating in band, choir, twirling, and school plays.

    TAYLOR VANMETER

    won 2019 Oklahoma Native All-State Assocation Softball Player. She attends Weleetka Public Schools and is the daughter of Wesley and Martha Van-Meter. Congratulations!

    Holdenville Game Night News

    We started out with just 6 “Moon” domino players. Partners were Joyce Brinlee and Mary Wagner; Cindy McDaniel and Lynn Marquis; and Sharon Dilday and Barbara Tiger. Mary and Joyce won a game when Mary shot the Moon and made it! Yea! Mary!! Cindy and Lynn won 4 games. Cindy shot the Moon one time!

    Calvin Seniors Honored

    Connor Dunn is the son of Jason and Jodie Dunn. He is the grandson of Judy and Leroy Dunn. He has participated in FFA, Basketball and Baseball. His future plans are to continue working as an HVAC Technician and maybe one day start his own business.

    WOLVERINE BASKETBALL

    Holdenville Wolverines emerged victorious from their scuffl e with Wewoka Tiers last Saturday night on the armory court, by the tune of 26-23. The Tigers, having been defeated only once this season until their downfall at the hands of Holdenville, were confident to the point of loafing.
