WHS Class of ‘62 holds 60th Reunion

Three people have been charged with trafficking in illegal drugs after a traffic stop in Wetumka. At approximately 2:40pm on July 9, Officer Jeremy Chasteen of the Wetumka Police Department pulled over a white Chevy pickup for speeding, 36mph in a 25mph zone. While asking the driver for his license and registration, Officer Chasteen smelled a strong smell of what he believed to be marijuana. He asked the driver, later identified as Estaban Duenas, 25 of Port Arthur, Texas, if he had any marijuana in his possession. Marilyn was born in Clearview and attended school in Clearview and graduated from Weleetka High School in 1969. She lives in Clearview where she serves as town mayor. She is the mother of three children and grandmother of seven children and wife to Teddy Jackson. She is very energetic and a grave supporter of the town of Clearview.
