It has been reported to the Tribune this week that people pretending to be representatives of OG&E are calling area businesses and citizens and telling them that their is way past due and if they do not meet them with payment they will have to turn their electric off.

It is a good feeling that this “thing” is almost over. COVIC-19 that is. Yesterday Chad Kaminski (Pastor of First Baptist Church) said that we Baptist would start up church on June 7 th . He thinks that is when the other churches in town will start up too.

Hughes County courthouse begins phased reopening

The Hughes County Courthouse has reopened, but, because of the threat caused by the COVID 19 virus, it has not yet returned to business as usual. Hughes County Commissioners have issued a Proclamation to re-open the Hughes County Courthouse, but the document lists a number of stipulations.
