OKMULGEE, Oklahoma — After the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Supreme Court decision to void the results of the Sept. 21 Primary Election, the MCN Election Board has decided to fulfill the MCN Supreme Court’s opinion.

The Texas Banner Church of God will be having a Fall Festival on Saturday, October 26th from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. The church is located 7.5 miles South of Wetumka on Highway 75, or from Horn Corner go 2 miles North on Highway 75.

Tip of the hat to the Rev. Jesse Spurlock, Pastor Emeritus at Highland Park Baptist Church in Midwest City, who provides food for thought in the weekly bulletin at the church where he pastored for 18 years.

John Dennis Petty passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2019 in his home at Holden-ville, Oklahoma at the age of 66. John was born October 1, 1953 in Oklahoma City to Louis and Belle P e t - ty.  He graduated from Midwest City p u b l i c school.
