The Texas Banner Church of God will be having a Fall Festival on Saturday, October 26th from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. The church is located 7.5 miles South of Wetumka on Highway 75, or from Horn Corner go 2 miles North on Highway 75.

Before the evening was over, we had 8 “Moon” players.  But tonight, we played winners take on the losers.  So, we kept changing tables every time we lost!  But we played with different opponents all night! That made it a lot of fun!

“The Presence” Church of Owasso, Oklahoma traveled to Clearview, Oklahoma to tour one of the Historically All-Black Towns of Oklahoma. Will Williams, member of the church and organizer of the senior group, chose Clearview for the tour because of his previous visits to the town.

Homer “Tab” Barrett of Clearview is the new entrepreneur in town. Several years ago, Tab made a set of personalized aluminum dominoes for Homer “Billy Jack” Johnson, his namesake and first cousin to his mother Susie Golden Barrett.

The Home and Community Education groups of Okfuskee, Lincoln, and Okmulgee Counties gathered together to tour sites in in Lincoln County as part of last leg of a three-leg county tour. The groups had previously tour Okfuskee and Okmulgee Counties.
