GREAT CROWD SEES K.K.K. INITIATION One of the largest assemblages that ever met in Holdenville was that of Friday night at the Fair grounds to witness the initiation of about fifty men to the order of the Ku Klux Klan.

Young Chieftain squad to battle Chiefs Friday

The Wetumka Chieftains will host the Waukomis Chiefs Friday. The non-district game is scheduled to kick off at 7:30 p.m. The Chieftains beat the Chiefs handily last year, 50-14, however, Wetumka is a relatively new team this year, after losing 11 seniors to graduation.

The Weleetka Outlaws will play a zero week game against the Keota Lions Friday to kick-off the 2019 football season. The non-district game is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at Keota. The Outlaws recently scrimmaged the Yale Bulldogs, and the results were positive.

WOW!  We had apx. 50 people at our ice cream dance August 3rd.  We had 3-4 squares on the floor almost all night!  It was wonderful!  The ice cream was delicious and pies, brownies, clobbers etc. to go with it.
