LETTERS TO SANTA Dear Santa, I am 8 years old, in the 3rd grade at Carson School. Santa, I would like to have a pair of boxing gloves, a cowboy suit, a set of mechanic tools.

The annual Kiwanis Christmas parade will be held on Saturday, December 15th on Wetumka’s Main Street. The theme of the parade is “The Grinch That Stole Christmas.” This year the club will be having a drawing, in which eight bicycles and two hoverboards will be given away!

With little public input, no publicity and no discussion the Holdenville City Council unanimously passed an ordinance that would slash the salary of the Town Marshall and City Clerk to $100 a month and in effect take away the right of Holdenville residents to vote on those two positions.
