James Carl Oliphant James Carl Oliphant passed away Saturday, October 19th, 2019 in his home Wetumka, Oklahoma at the age of 67. James was born July 28, 1952 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Ralph Arnold “Sonny” Oliphant and Emma Jo McKosky Oliphant.

Thomas Coleman Flowers, Jr, was born to Thomas Coleman Flowers, Sr. and Loe Frances Enos Flowers at his grandmother Serena Oliphant’s Holdenville, Oklahoma home on July 22, 1931. He attended Holdenville schools and was a 1949 graduate of Holden-ville High School.

Jimmie Lee Lankford, 80, passed away on September 13, 2019. The son of Titus James and Myrtle Marie (Martin) Lank-ford, Jimmie was born on October 4, 1938 in Wetumka, OK. Jimmie enjoyed rodeo, horses, and cattle. He was known as a great story-teller.

Kenneth Ray ‘K-Bar’ Sanford passed away at his home in Holdenville on Tuesday afternoon, October 15, 2019, at the age of 87 years. Kenneth was the son of William Homer Sanford & Thelma Edith Lorena (Jones) Sanford, born on September 27, 1932, at Non, Oklahoma.

Alvin Lee Keathley was born on December 23, 1936, at home, three miles South of Lamar, Oklahoma to Luster Lovic and Stella Mae (Liles) Keathley. He passed away Saturday, October 12th, 2019 in Shawnee, Oklahoma at the age of 82.

Cathy JoAnn Wright was born January 3, 1954 in Dustin, Oklahoma to Charles Edward Wright and Margarett Francis Wright and departed from this life October 7, 2019.

Roy J. Yates passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2019, in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 83. Roy was born December 21, 1935 near Atoka, Oklahoma to Roy Lee Yates and Myrtle Stewart Yates.  He attended Oklahoma public school.  Roy married Joyce Ann Griggs in Hughes County, Oklahoma.

Fred Tom Billy passed away Saturday, October 5, 2019, at Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 74. Fred was born January 17, 1945 in Sasakwa, Oklahoma to Thomas Billie Sr. and Elsie Mae McGirt Faulkner.  He attended Holdenville Public Schools.

Lora Mae Barksdale passed away in Holdenville, Oklahoma on Sunday morning, October 6, 2019, at the age of 84 years. Lora Mae was the daughter of Willie Jackson Sims and Agnes E. (Wiggins) Sims, born on February 5, 1935, in Stuart, Oklahoma. She was brought up and attended schools in Holden-ville.

Funeral services for Kim Lynnette Tinkler, 62, of Skiatook, OK, were held Monday, October 7, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Peters-Stumpff Funeral Home in Skiatook, Oklahoma, with Pastor Jerry Reed officiating. Interment in Wetumka Cemetery was at 3:00 p.m.
