Sallee Fern LaFave passed away at her home in Allen, Oklahoma on Saturday, October 5, 2019, at the age of 49 years. Sallee was the daughter of Rolland and Martha (Hinson) LaFave, born on December 1 5 , 1969, in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Bonnie L. (Flanagan) Leming, 85 of McAlester, passed away on Wednesday, October 23 at a local nursing center. The family will greet friends on Sunday afternoon from 2-4 p.m. at Bishop Funeral Service. Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m.

Samuel Floyd Bradley passed away Friday, October 25, 2019 at Mitchell Manor in McAlester, Oklahoma at the age of 86. Sam was born April 29, 1933 in Hold-e n v i l l e , O k l a h o - ma to Dorth Edward Bradley and Ola McCoy Bradley.  Sam graduated from Holdenville public schools.

Mary Ann Billy passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at the age of 75 at OSU Medical Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, her loving family at her side,. Mary Ann was born June 4, 1944 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to California Fixico and Winey Yahola Fixico.  Mary Ann graduated from Holdenville Public Schools.

Funeral services for Polly Ramona Hill were held Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Salt Creek Indian Baptist Church of Wetumka, Oklahoma. Interment followed at the Salt Creek cemetery. Wake services were held Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at 7:30 PM also at the Salt Creek Church.

Leona Ruth (Bemo) Yahola, also known to everyone as “Pinky,” passed on from this life to be with her Lord and Savior on October 23, 2019 at her home in Wetumka, Oklahoma at the age of 74. She was born on July 19, 1945 to Simeon and Beulah Bemo in Wewoka, Oklahoma.

Funeral services for Bobby Tiger were held Tuesday, October 22, 2019 at 10:00 AM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home of Wetumka, Oklahoma. Interment followed at the Holdenville Cemetery. Bobby Tiger was born January 20, 1946 and left to heaven on October 18, 2019.

This Is the House That Jack Built, Y’all James A. Franklin was the 15th child born to Sam Willie and Mariah Jane Franklin. There were sixteen children, five girls: Dora Hoskins, Jessie Mae Franklin, Jessie Mae’s twin sister (who die at birth), Ester Bell, Oneta Franklin and Pauline Rice.

The head of our clan is a man of many seasons. Father figure to all, honored for various reasons. A respected man of faith with strength from above, He has endured adversities with the grace of a dove.

Services for Billie Rae Lamb-Clay, 92, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 25th , at the First Baptist Church, Rev. Steve Dighton will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home.
