Patricia JoAnn Sims was born on September 11, 1938 in Holdenvlle, OK the only child of H.H. “Cobb” and Lucille (Hoover) Elliott. She passed away on June 6, 2019. She married Gene Sims and they were married 60 years at the time of her death. They had three children, Chris, Todd and Robin.

Claude Edward Martin, Sr. was born January 13, 1930, near Dustin, to G.R. and Mary (Self) Martin. He passed from this world into his Heavenly home June 10, 2019 at his home near Dustin.

Emet Sparks, 92, was born January 10, 1926 in Gum Springs, Oklahoma to Jim and Lena Sparks. He passed from this life on May 20, 2018 in Oklahoma City. When he was in 9th grade, Emet moved to Holdenville, OK where he met Nadine.

Everlee Ryalyn Marie Payne, infant daughter of Kennith and Caitlyn (Reich) Payne, was carried away by angels on June 1, 2019.   Preceding Everlee are her maternal great-great-grandparents, Gene Epperley and Helen Evans Epperley; paternal grandfather Kevin Payne; and aunt Cassidy Marie Reich.

Paul “Dean” Butler, 81, of Colorado City, Texas passed away Saturday, June 1, 2019 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He was born February 7, 1938 to Carl Leonard and Goldie Marie (Rayburn) Butler in Holdenville, Oklahoma. Dean grew up in Atwood and Wetumka, Oklahoma.

Memorial Services for Joann Priest, 86, of Ada were 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 28th , at Morris Memorial Baptist Church, Revs. Michael Calhoun and David Fensler will officiate. Mrs. Priest passed away Monday, May 20, 2019, at a Stroud hospital.
