Obituaries

Rose Marie Warden passed away at her home in Non, Oklahoma early Friday morning, December 7, 2018. She was 90 years old. Rose was the daughter of Joseph & Opel (Schell) Gasner, the fifth of their twelve children. She was born on March 22, 1928, in Sterling, Colorado.

Carl Wayne McDaniel was born July 14, 1953 to Troy Orva McDaniel and Joyce Evelyn (Landford) McDaniel at Okemah, Oklahoma.  He resided in the Fairview community all of his life.  He passed from this life on December 8, 2018 at Holdenville, Oklahoma. He was 65 years of age.

Alyene Pat Akin of Holdenville passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2018, at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City at the age of 75.  Pat was born on March 29, 1943, in Stuart, Oklahoma, to Edward Jett & Alyene Jett. She was beloved by many in her family and community.

Funeral services for David “Jeff” Jeffrey Parker will be held Friday, December 7, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the First Baptist Church of Wetumka with Bro. Donnie Nero officiating. Jeff was a longtime resident of the Wetumka area and a 1983 graduate of Wetumka High School.

William Elias Pryor passed away in the Heritage Village Nursing Home in Holdenville.  He was born in Holdenville on May 12, 1946.  Private family interment will be held later and the family wishes that no floral tributes be made.

Gale Lee, age 74, of Holdenville passed away November 26, 2018 in his home. Services will be held Tuesday, December 4th , 1:00 pm at Texas Banner Church of God, north of Horn-town on Highway 75. Burial follows in Holdenville Cemetery.

Connie Lynn (Wingo) Taylor passed away in Oklahoma City on Friday, November 16, 2018, at the age of 64 years. Connie was the daughter of Clester ‘Cleck’ Wingo & Wanda (Trotter) Wingo, born on April 24, 1954, in H o l d - e n v i l l e , Oklahoma, where she was brought up and attended schools.

Tony Harold Edwards, born July 25, 1957 to Charles Anthony Edwards and Gloria Oneta Shatswell Edwards in Henryetta, Oklahoma. He was the fourth of six boys, Rocky, Morgan “Joe”, Jimmy, Eddie and Mark and 20 years after Mark came Kimberly, the only girl of seven children.

Funeral services for Olive Ann Garrison will be Thursday, November 29, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Okemah. Interment will follow at the Wetumka Cemetery. Olive Ann Garrison was born June 29, 1934 in Fresno, California to Earnest Atkinson and Alma (Heinz) Atkinson.

Anthony R. Cooper was born to Charles and Bonnie Owens Cooper on August 31, 1961 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He passed from this life on November 16, 2018 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Anthony attended and graduated from John Marshall High School in Oklahoma City and owned his own lawn service.
