Patsy Ruth Davis, age 90, of Wewoka, Oklahoma departed this life Sunday, October 24, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born May 15, 1931 in Wewoka to the late Charlie Degge and Opal (Salmans) Degge.

Altha Oda Lee “Odie” Medders Weatherred was born February 27, 1933, Rocky, Oklahoma. Her parents were Carl and Lois Medders. She grew up in Clinton, Oklahoma moving to Hughes County in 1950.Odie met Lee Warren Weatherred and they married April 8, 1951. She graduated from Fairview in 1951.

Debra June “Debbie” Moore passed away at her home surrounded by her family early October 31, 2021. She was 64 years old and a lifelong resident of Holdenville, OK.Debbie was born August 27, 1957 in Holdenville, OK to J.C. and June McConnell.

Darlene Simpson was born August 12, 1962, to Erline and W. T. Barber in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She later moved with her family to Wichita, Kansas. She attended Mizpah Baptist Church under the leadership of W. H. Rice. She sung in the choir and on the junior usher board.

Erline Barber was born to George and Rosie Simpson in Clearview, Oklahoma. She grew up with her sister Ruby Simpson. She was married W. T. Barber and through this union four children were born. Erline was a foster parent to many children raising an additional seven along with her own.

M. V. “Skip” Matthews, 93 of Pharoah, Oklahoma passed away on Thursday, October 21st, 2021, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born July 7th, 1928 in Sharp, Oklahoma to Clyde C. Matthews and Flora (Little) Matthews.

Scott Allen Stafford passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at his home in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 53.Scott was born February 11, 1968 in Oklahoma City to Billy Lee Stafford and Joyce (McDonald) Stafford. He graduated from U.S. Grant and later received his Associate Degree.

Ralonda “Jo” LaValley passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2021. She was surrounded by loving family as her journey here on earth ended. She was 87 years old.She was born September 16, 1934 to Roy Cook and Ida Lee (Moss) Cook in Holdenville, Oklahoma.

Gary Clayton LaValley was born September 13, 1940, to Clinton and Lula (Brandon) LaValley, at the Benedict School Teacherage on the Seminole/ Hughes County line. Gary passed from this life October 23, 2021, in his home.

Jon Stephen ‘Steve’ Benham was born December 5, 1949 to Lloyd Newman Benham and Jo Mae (Johnson) Benham in Holdenville, OK. He passed from his earthly home in Carson, OK, and into the arms of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on October 12, 2021, with his adoring wife and daughter by his side.
