    Outlaws hold-up Chieftains

    The annual Weleetka-Wetumka rivalry turned into a runaway Thursday night as the Outlaws blanked Wetumka 46-0. Devin Davis opened the scoring with a four yard plunge in the first quarter to give Weleetka a 6-0 lead.

    The Wetumka Chieftains lost to Weleetka Thursday in their final regular season game, 46-0. The Chieftains definitely tried to defeat their district rival, but it wasn’t a must-win game for Wetumka. The next game, however, will be.

    Another great victory for Graham-Dustin

    Graham/Dustin continued their impressive offense with a convincing 54-28 win over Sasakwa. The high scoring battle was closer than the final score indicated. The score was tied at 8 after the first period. The locals put 14 more pointes on the board and held a 22-14 halftime lead.

    Chieftains roughed up at home

    The Wetumka Chieftains lost to a tough district foe Friday night by a score of 58-12. Wetumka played Canadian -- an undefeated team which sits atop Class B District 5. The game was quite competitive at first. Wetumka held the Cougars to negative yards on the first drive, and forced them to punt.

    Holdenville loses at home

    The Holdenville Wolverines lost to the Kelly-ville Ponies Friday night, 34-6. The first quarter was competitive, with the Wolverines’ defense holding Kellyville’s offense to six points. However, the Ponies got two more touchdowns in the second quarter.

    We had 9 “Moon” players Monday night!  I thought that I wasn’t going to get to go, so I called around and found someone to take my place.  And she had so much fun!  I had a good time just watching them play.  Besides, I got to eat the goodies and they had to play!  You can’t beat that!

    Bulldogs beat Wolverines on cold, rainy night

    The Holdenville Wolverines faced a tough foe Friday in the Meeker Bulldogs, and lost 61-6. Head Coach Monty Lewis said the Wolverines didn’t play with enough consistency.

    Graham-Dustin shut out Wilson-Henryetta

    Friday night the Graham-Dustin football team made it a perfect evening as they shut out Wilson-Henryetta 52-0. The game was never in doubt as the locals put 38 points on the scoreboard in the first quarter and 14 more in the second period.
