Essie Margaret Keeling Howard, 76 of Ada, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2019 in Ada. Essie was born on May 15, 1943 to Oliver and Edna (Abercrombie) Keeling in Gerty, Oklahoma. She grew up in Gerty and attended Gerty Schools.

Pamela Grace Morgan, age 59 of Cromwell, departed this life on Friday, November 1, 2019 in Okemah. She was born in Holdenville on November 23, 1959 to Cleo and Carl Warrington. She was a graduate of Butner High School in 1978 and received a Bachelor of Science from East Central University.

Edith was born on December 30, 1933 in Double Horn, a small community in Burnet County in the central Texas Hill Country. She was delivered at home, with her own grandmother acting as midwife. She passed from this life on October 28, 2019.

Peggy Jane Dunlap Hopkins passed away Wednesday, November 6th, 2019 at St. Anthony’s Hospital in Shawnee, Oklahoma at the age of 74. Peggy was born December 29th, 1944 in El Centro, California to Lennis Earnest Dunlap and Lottie Bell Rowland.

“ ” Charles Bush, born in Clearview, Oklahoma to Charlie Bush and Octavia Johnson Bush McDonald, attended elementary school in Clearview, Oklahoma and graduated high school in Kansas City, Missouri went on to become the owner of and CEO of over fifty-night clubs in Houston and Dallas, TX.

Funeral services for Carl Luwayne Zackery will be held Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Clearview Community Center in Clearview, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at the Clearview Cemetery.

Shirley Ann Allen was born April 15, 1939 in Weleetka, Oklahoma to Tom and Thurma (Maddox) Reddick and passed from this life October 26, 2019 in Oklahoma City at the age of 80. Ms. Allen was raised in Weleetka and attended the Weleetka school system. She was the 1955-56 Football queen!

Naomi Ruth Tomlinson passed away Saturday, November 2, 2019 in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 91 years.  She was born April 13, 1928 to Lillian and Raymond Eldridge in Dustin, Oklahoma.  She was the oldest of six children....the only girl.   She married Bruce McKinney in March of 1950.

Phyllis Yvonne Leach, 82, died October 31, 2019 in the arms of her husband and soulmate, Jim Leach.  Services will be held Friday, November 8, 2:00pm at New Life Church in Wewoka, OK. Phyllis was born October 30, 1937 to Ozie Rowsey Perkins and R.J. Perkins of Allen, OK.

Charles Warren Leewright went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 surrounded by his loving family at his home in Holdenville, Oklahoma. Charles was born on October 22, 1934 to James Pascal “Pat” Leewright and Elsie Simpson Leewright.
