Sarah “Pauline” Cofer passed away Thursday, August 22nd, 2019 at Holdenville General Hospital at the age of 90. Pauline was born May 11, 1929 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Larkin Lee Russell and Eva Golden (Thorpe) Russell.  Pauline attended Oak Grove public school.  She married James D.

Sylvia Glendena Peace passed away Thursday, August 8th, 2019 in her home in McAlester, Oklahoma at the age of 70. Sylvia was born October 28, 1948 to Glenn Sharum and Ida Rachael McKay Sharum in Sayre, Oklahoma.

Funeral services for Mildred Louise Smith will be held Thursday, August 22, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Parks Brothers Wetumka Chapel in Wetumka, Oklahoma. Interment will follow at the Wetumka City Cemetery. Mildred Louise Smith was born January 8, 1927 in Wetumka, Oklahoma to Earnest V.

Donald Joe Merchant, 76, of Shawnee, succumbed to a lengthy illness on August 17. He was born May 6, 1943, to Lois and Hershel Merchant, in Holdenville, Oklahoma. He attended Holden-ville schools, and went on to study at East Central University and Seminole Junior College.

Judith Ann Smith Echols went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 10, 2019. Judy was born on January 16, 1945 in El Paso, Texas to Virgil and Louise Smith. She married the love of her life Truman Dale Echols on June 22, 1963.

Royce Dale Peerson passed away August 2, 2019. He was born December 26, 1938 in Lamar, Oklahoma to Otus and Cecil Peerson. Royce was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. His family and church family were so important to him. Royce loved to serve his church in any capacity that was needed.

June Annette Wilson passed away in Holdenville, Oklahoma on Monday, August 5, 2019, at the age of 70 years. June was the daughter of Alan Tatum and Jackie Lee (Moody) Tatum, born on June 20, 1949, in Santa Maria, California.

Funeral service for Jason Lee Yahola of Bethany, Oklahoma will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 9th , at Sand Creek Eufaula Baptist Church in Wewoka.  Interment will follow at West Family Cemetery Holdenville, Oklahoma.

Paul I. Shirley was born south of Stuart, Hughes County, on March 3, 1921 to Silas A. and Lee (Hester) Shirley. Paul is predeceased by both his parents and three brothers. He has one sister; Maxine Jones of Ada.

Linda Jean Turpin of Stuart, Oklahoma passed away in the St. Francis Hospital, Tulsa, on Friday, August 2, 2019.  Services were Tuesday, August 6th , 10:30 AM, in the Non Cemetery, Non, Oklahoma with Randell Miller officiating.
