Orval Brock age 76, died Monday September 9, 2019 at his home in Holdenville, OK. He was born June 19, 1943 in Macomb OK to William and Oretha Brock. He married Linda Kay (Jump) Brock on October 20, 1961 and had four daughters.

Allen E. “Gene” Anderson died peacefully at his home on September 6, 2019. He was born on June 10, 1939 in Raymondville, Texas to Allen A. Anderson and Irene Riley Anderson. He graduated from Ruston (Louisiana) High School and Louisiana Tech University with a BS degree in Electrical Engineering.

Joyce Mignon Batter-shell Hunter was lifted by her Savior Jesus Christ to her eternal home in Heaven on September 1, 2019. She was born to John Wesley and Ruby Lee (Owens) Battershell on October 8, 1956.

Carolyn Sue Knoles passed away in Midwest City on Saturday, August 31, 2019, at the age of 71 years.  Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2019, 1:00 p.m. at the Calvin Cemetery Chapel. Complete obituary information will follow in next edition.

On Thursday, August 29, 2019, our father, James H. (Jim) Lysinger went to be with his Lord. He was born on August 18, 1934 in Lancaster, Ohio to Herbert Lysinger and Ada Reynolds.

Torrence James ‘T. J.’Wesley passed away in Oklahoma City on Tuesday, August 27, 2019, at the age of 30 years. T. J. was born in Claremore, Oklahoma on January 9, 1989, to Wyslie (Wesley) Gallardo. He was brought up by his adoptive parents, Andrew Wesley and Shirley (Coon) Wesley, in Holdenville.

George Robert (Bob) Eckles, Jr. passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Integris Baptist Medical Center at the age of 88. George was born January 2, 1931 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to George Robert Eckles and Joyce Williams Eckles.

Lowell Dean Cook born on February 22, 1936 in Wetumka, Oklahoma passed away on August 13, 2019 in Auburn, California. Obituary and services pending.

Willard Thomas “Dub” Laster, 92-year-old Holdenville, Oklahoma resident and former Coalgate and Maud, Oklahoma resident passed from this life Saturday, August 24, 2019 at his home in Holdenville surrounded by his loving family.

David M. (“Mike”) Turner was born December 28, 1948, to John Richard (“Dick”) Turner and Rozanne Truscott Turner.  After graduating from Holden-ville High School, he attended several schools before ultimately attaining his law degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1975.
