David “L.D.” Cross passed away Saturday, May 18, 2019, at his home in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 83.L.D. was born March 12, 1936in Yukon, Oklahoma to Ancel Virgil Cross and Estil Anderson. L.D. attended Spaulding Public Schools. Hemarried T.Cairol Dodson on May21, 1960 in Holdenville. L.D.

Funeral services for Fay Adriana Simpson were held Saturday, May 18, 2019 at 1:00 PM at the Parks Brothers Funeral Home Chapel in Okemah.  Interment followed at the Highland Cemetery. Fay Adriana Simpson was born November 6, 1930 in Rockport, Texas to George and Jenny Goodwin.

Ray David Little, Jr., aged 93, a longtime resident of Hobbs, New Mexico, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2019, at the Gardens of Bellaire in Houston, Texas. Ray David had moved to Houston in October 2018 to be closer to family.

Robbie Strong, 54 was born on January 11, 1965 to Robert Strong and Mary Louise Buck in Claremore, OK. He passed from this life on May 15, 2019 in Wetumka, Oklahoma. Robbie was raised in Wetumka and made it his life-long home. He worked as a pipeliner in the oil and gas business and did odd jobs.

On October 9, 1937 in Okemah, Oklahoma, Bonnie Mae Owens was born to Ray and Naomi Forshee Owens. She was the fourth child of seven children. Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Naomi Forshee Owens; her husband, Charles; three children: Katrina, Charles, Jr.

Artie Mae Carter passed away in Holden-ville, Oklahoma on Friday morning, May 17, 2019, at the age of 90 years. Artie was the daughter of Walter Marvin Hill and Mattie Florence (Allen) Hill, born on August 22, 1928, in Spaulding, Oklahoma.

Robert Douglas ‘Bob’ Guffey passed away at his home in Calvin, Oklahoma on Friday, May 17, 2019, at the age of 76 years. Bob was the son of George Dennis Guffey and Edith Naomi (Detrick) Guffey, born on November 5, 1942, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, where he was brought up and attended schools.

Service is pending with Hudson Phillips Funeral Home for Nina Dean Baxter. Nina passed away on Wednesday morning, May 22, 2019. Full obituary will be in next week’s Tribune

Services for Mary Elizabeth (Noon) Taylor were held Saturday, May 11, 2019 at 10:00 AM at the A-Q Levina Beaver Senior Citizen’s Center in Wetumka, Oklahoma and officiated by Conny Hart. Mary Elizabeth Taylor was born August 31, 1932 in Paden, Oklahoma to Alex and Minnie (Grant) Noon.
