Steve James Wortman passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at his home in Calvin, Oklahoma at the age of 75. Steve was born July 8, 1950 in Hanford, California to James Wortman and Flora Doreen (Smith) Wortman. He attended Calvin Public School. Steve married Debra Byerly.

Elmo (Moe) Elbert Collins, Sr. was born on January 25, 1929 to Andrew and Velma Collins in Wetumka, Oklahoma.He went to his reward in paradise from Conroe, Texas at the age of 97 on May 17, 2026 and he is now reunited with his beloved wife, Mary.

Josephine King, born Josephine Archambeau, passed away on May 3, 2026, at the age of 59. She was born on September 23, 1966, in Tulsa and passed away in Tishomingo. Josephine was a woman who brought joy wherever she went.She never met a stranger and had a gift for making everyone feel welcome.

Tena Denise Kibby went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 12, 2026. She passed peacefully at her home in Holdenville, Oklahoma, in the arms of her husband, Billy Jack Kibby.Tena was born October 6, 1958, in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Ralph Duncan & Allison Lajerald (Cook) Duncan.

Connie Sue Martin passed away peacefully at her home on May 2, 2026. She will be remembered for her creativity, warmth, and the love she shared with her family and community.

Barbara Ann Blair passed away at her home in Lamar, Oklahoma on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at the age of 66 years.Barbara is the daughter of Bill & Patty (Luna) Pack, born on July 11, 1959, in Holdenville, Oklahoma.

Gerald L. Beeney, age 77, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on June 9, 1948, in Pekin, Illinois, to Tom & Margret (Keeyes) Biggs.He was later adopted and lovingly raised by Murle Beeney.

The annual Memorial Day Service at the Atwood Cemetery will be held Sunday, May 24th, at 2:00 p.m. The message will be brought by Keith Warren, pastor of the Atwood Church of Christ.

Dolores Joan Ingram (Rusty) passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, at the age of 92. She was a longtime resident of Holdenville, moving to Shawnee in 2017 after the death of her husband, W.D. (Dub) Ingram.
