John Wesley Sneed, 83 years old, of Wewoka, Oklahoma passed away at his home. He was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and had attended the Wewoka Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses since 1964. He was born in Calvin, Oklahoma and was a lifelong resident of the area.

Betty Ruth Johnson passed away Thursday, September 7, 2023, at Heritage Village Nursing Center in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 84.Betty was born December 7, 1938, inTupelo, Oklahoma to Dee Iverson Hyatt and Ruth Aline Cannon Hyatt. She graduated from Tupelo High School in 1957.

Geneva Lorene Morphis Winkle, age 101, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2023 in Ada, Oklahoma. She was born April 11, 1922 in Holdenville to Forrest Morphis and Lola (Morrow) Morphis.She enjoyed sewing and cooking.She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Rev. Loyd D.
