Brian Keith Maxwell was born March 27, 1971 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Kenward Keith Maxwell and Lana Carol Maxwell. At a young age, Brian began working on cars alongside his dad. When Brian got older, he went to school and received his diesel mechanic license.

Jeffery Yahola was born December 27, 1967. To the late Thomas Yahola and Elizabeth Roberta Yahola. He passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2021. He is preceded in death by Thomas Yahola of Bristow OK, his brother Maurice Yahola of Wetumka, OK. Dennis Baker of Wetumka OK.

Benjamin Chotkey was born August 15, 1956 in Weleetka, Oklahoma to Raymond and Nancy (Karlarney) Chotkey. He passed away Friday, February 26, 2021 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 64. Benjamin is preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Willie and one sister, Louise.

Memorial Services for Frances Jean Girty (Scott), 83, will be held Wednesday, March 03, at the Lawrence Indian United Methodist Church, Viewing will be from 3:00 – 5:00 pm, with dinner from 5:30 – 6:30 pm and service from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.

Frances Ann Herrod was born February 8, 1955 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Robert and Louise (McCosar) Herrod. She passed from this life on February 26, 2021 in Ada, Oklahoma at the age of 66. Frances was baptized on June 11, 1969 by Jacob Bear and was a member of the Tookparfka Baptist Church.

Cheryle Kay Janes passed away in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on Sunday, February 28, 2021, at the age of 61 years. Cheryle was the daughter of Willie & Clara (Hyatt) Brown, born on April 30, 1959 in Seminole, Oklahoma.

Devoted wife, mother, and grandmother Susie Mae Anderson, 88, passed peacefully into her Savior’s loving arms on Wednesday morning, February 17, 2021. She was born in Holdenville, Oklahoma to Joseph and Dovie Hartsell.

Dr. Margaret Ann Smith, died Thursday, February 18, 2021, at the age of 73. She was hospitalized with diabetic complications. After being released to a recovery center, Margaret caught Covid-19, soon after beating Covid she succumbed to “covid-heart” and died from a heart attack.

Rebecca Darlene Walton has gone to be with her Lord. Darlene was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on August 5, 1954, to Jack and Lura (Western) Walton. She passed February 21, 2021.

Tristan Nicole Gaither, a resident of Dewar, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2021 in Dewar, OK at the age of 17. She was born on September 10, 2003 in Decatur, TX to Lloyd Gaither and Traci (Durbin) Gaither. She was a student at the Dewar Public School.
