Regina Sue Hester, 74 of Holdenville, passed away June 6, 2023. She was born in Holdenville to Leroy Bible and Maxine (Wingo) Bible. Sue worked as an LPN for over 20 years in Hughes County. After retirement she spent her time gardening, watching sci-fi movies and reading.

Clarence Richard Proctor was born February 4, 1944 in Wetumka, Oklahoma to Ernest Ray Proctor and Norma Ruth (Morris) Proctor and passed from this life June 13, 2023 in Shawnee, Oklahoma at the age of 79.Richard spent most of his childhood in Wetumka and attended Wetumka School.

Kristy Ann Scott, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2023, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born on January 18, 1980, in Delano, California, Kristy was a kind and friendly soul who touched the lives of many throughout her 43 years.

Jerry Lee Smith passed away Monday, June 5, 2023 in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 75.Jerry was born March 29, 1948 in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Winifred Gene Smith and Clara Mae (Petty) Smith. Jerry graduated from Ardmore High School. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from East Central University.

Glenda Joyce Smith passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at Heritage Village Nursing Center at the age of 84.Glenda was born December 10, 1938 in Jesse, Oklahoma to Francis Monroe Collis and Pearl (London) Collis. Glenda graduated from Holdenville High School.

Ray Karl Wunder was born February 5, 1941, in Waterloo, Iowa to Alice Reed and Lloyd Wunder of Dysart, Iowa and died May 4th at his home in Wetumka.He attended Dysart Public School and graduated from the University of Iowa earning his pharmacy degree.

Billy Ray Byrd was born in Wetumka March 12, 1934 to James Guy and Katy Lenore Byrd. He passed from this life at his home North of town on May 25, 2023 following an extended illness.Billy went to Hickory Ridge and Wetumka Schools and quit school in the 8th grade to help on the family farm.

J.CJ.C. Kanard age 85, passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2023 in Holdenville, OK. He was born April 21, 1938 in Dustin, OK to the late Albert Rice and Rosanna Kanard Powell. He married Freda Faye (Snow) Kanard on October 16, 1959 in Wewoka, OK and she preceded him in death on July 20, 2010.

Peggy Lynn Walton Mayo passed away at her home near Wewoka, Oklahoma on Sunday, May 28, 2023, at the age of 74 years.Peggy was the daughter of Hubert and Geneva (Price) Lester, born on December 27, 1948, in Holdenville, Oklahoma, where she was brought up and attended schools.

Craig Douglas McGirt passed away May 21, 2023 at this home in Edmond, Oklaho- ma at the age of 52.Craig was born February 24th, 1971 in Talihana, Okla homa to Johnson Alfred Goate and Lucille (McGirt) Farber.Craig graduated from Harts- horne Jones Academy. He at tended 1 year at North Eastern State.
